sometimes I find it difficult to meet 1200 calories a day.sometimes it's just easier for me to have a shake and a salad and a shake and a yogurt and a shake

    Also, if you are finding it hard to meet 1,200 calories, eat more calorically dense items. Avocados, peanut butter, ice cream, or chips can help boost your calories for the day. It's very important to net 1,200 after exercise each day, as this is the bare minimum women should consume. Additionally, since you report you only have 20lbs to lose, I'm assuming you have your weight loss set to 2lbs/week, which may be too aggressive. You can easily set it to 1lb a week, and have a more generous calorie allotment.

    This is trial and error. Make sure you are eating enough to fuel your body, and that you are following a plan that is sustainable for you in the long run.
