There's no way I can eat 1800 calories a day! I'm real good at 1000 calories or even 800. I'm on a strict low carb diet and have lost 80 pounds. Have plateaued for the past 5 months and need to start losing again. But 1800 calories a day is too much for me!

If you've lost 80lbs, then you were able to eat over 1800 calories at some stage.. I struggle to stay under 2,000 calories...

So true..
In the summer I'm very active and its more dificult for me to eat large meals so I try to eat a huge breakfast with over 100 grams of protein then smaller stuff throughout the day to meet my minimum macros-

I lost all my weight on 1800 - 1900 cal / day. I maintain on 2500 - 2600. So if all you can seem to feed yourself is 800-1000 and you don't lose weight there, I guess you are stuck. Sorry.0

Go up gradually. Add a spoonful of peanut butter to your diet everyday for a week. Then the next week add crackers to that spoonful. Then the next week, turn that spoonful into PB&J sandwhich. You'll get used to eating more that way. You've probably hit that plateau because you've gone so long with such low calories. Eating too little can have long term effects and you may be getting those effects now.0

Do you meausre what you eat? My guess is you might be underestimating what you really do put into your body. 1000 cals is really low. Heck, I wish I didn't feel hungry at 2000+ cals a day
Eat peanut butter or something? It goes well on celery.
I mean, what kind of foods do you eat? Do you take some apetite suppressant or other drug that could affect your apetite? Do you exercise? Without building some muscle through activity your metabolism isn't ever going to burn the last 30-40lbs you have set for yourself to lose. And moving around will most likely increase your need for food, as well.0 -
I doubt you're physically incapable, which would make it a mental issue, in which case you'd have to consider the seriousness of said issue and whether it should be addressed by someone with a little more knowledge on the topic.
Also, seeing you've been eating 800-1000.. where has the 1800 come from? And why are you strictly low carbing?
As to answer your question: fats are high kcal, so think avocados, mackerel, lamb, nuts, nut butters, oil. All the yummy stuff. Alternatively just increase your portion sizes or meal frequency.0 -

This is good advice and many others have offered great calorie dense foods. You could also add a nutrient packed protein shake or smoothie to your day, since they are liquid it might be easier for you to take them in. I add milk to my protein shakes and lots of ice so they are like milkshakes to satisfy cravings but I struggle to stay below 2000 calories. Adding whole milk will give you calories. The protein is much higher than carbs that way too.0 -
