    Well, I have no idea if it makes any difference as far as weight loss is concerned, but fructose is harder for some people (those with IBS) to digest than sucrose. But sucrose tends not to come with a lot of nutrition.

    How is everybody consuming pure fructose? Almost all naturally occurring fructose comes with an equal amount of glucose, so I'm not sure where this fructose to sucrose comparison is coming seeing that sucrose is 50% glucose and 50% fructose, and that's basically how all fructose is found anyway.
