Hey guys! I have been faithful to enter my food now for almost 2 weeks. I am having a problem, though, with the EXACT portion size. It just gives me, for example, ONE cup of chicken salad with celery and mayo. The other option is not is either. Are you able to enter in your own portion size? Or, just have to take what is on there and figure at the end of the day, "Hey, I know I didn't REALLY go over on my fats and protein because I didn't REALLY eat that much?" Feed back appreciated! :flowerforyou:

If you're making it yourself, I'd enter each item seperately. X amount of chicken, X amount of celery, X amount of mayo. It will be more accurate.
If you're eating store bought chicken salad and you eat 1/2 a cup, just put 0.5 in the # of servings for 1 cup.0 -
Enter it yourself according to your labels or your recipe.0

When you enter food (if you are making it yourself), choose "Recipe" and put all the ingredients in there. Then you can select what the servings are and voila! Everything nice and compact.0

What I do is if the portion does not fit the amount I ate you can adjust the serving quantity. For example: if the portion size is 1 cup and I ate about twice that much, I adjust the servings to 2.
You can use any fraction like 1.25 for a serving and a quarter or .5 for a half serving etc. MFP then adjusts the calories accordingly.
I hope that makes sense and helps.0
