Hello,
Could someone share the activity level for steps taken. I have seen it posted before but unable to find it using the speech function.
Thanks in advance!

Honestly its going to vary by person.
On days where I'm at a desk for 8 hours I get 80% of my walking in a 45 minute walk at lunch and 45+ minute walk in the evening. This works out to be a little more than lightly active for 12.5k-14k steps.
On weekends where I'm on my feet constantly, but doing shopping/errands/house stuff - I'm getting the same total steps per day but more time on my feet/less time sitting. I'm 300-500 calories burned over lightly active. My TDEE is higher even though I've done less 'exercise'.
SO based on my data, I'd say if your steps are mostly cardio, then 10-12.5k for lightly active. If you're on your feet constantly without considering exercise, I'd say lightly active at 10-12.5k plus log your exercise for extra calories.0 -
From personal experience with my Fitbit and MFP, I set myself to lightly active on both and I see a negative adjustment if I'm under 6500 steps and a positive adjustment if I'm over. To be sayve, I would say under 6000 put yourself as sedentary, 6000-10000 lightly active and 10000+ active. This only works if you aren't getting the majority of your steps from exercise that you also log. Prior to having a Fitbit, I put myself as sedentary and logged all activities. Both methods seemed to keep me in the same general calorie range.0

Thanks, I have an up24 and I just reached goal weight today. I am trying to figure out my maintaining calories. I want to eat low during the week and increase over the weekend. I typically do about 12,000 to 15,000 steps a day (including an hour brisk walk). I have also done the Scooby calculator. I know it's going to take a bit to increase to maintenance and finding the magic number. Just trying to see which method to track. Thanks!!!0
