When they say that genetics determines where the weight will come off, they neglect to tell you that genetics has a wicked sense of humor. Much of my weight has come off of my sides just below my ribs and from just below my lower abs, leaving a protruding pot of belly fat that makes me look like I'm expecting to mother a cantaloupe. I'm sure the belly will be the last to go but I look just darned silly! Won't be wearing a bikini any time soon!! Hopefully body recomping in the fall when running season is done.

    LOL! I feel ya.

    I started at a size 22 and am now a 12 on top and a 16/18 on bottom. so little on the top and so big on the bottom still. wicked sense of humor, I tell ya LOL (but at least it IS finally coming off my bottom half- it took forever it seemed to start to budge!!!)

    keep working at it, and it will eventually sort itself out!

    I feel ya too!
    I put on 30lbs.....in a short time period I went from a 34AA bra (no need to even wear one) to a 36DD (and spilling out of that). My own mother asked me in a hushed tone why I would get breast implants
    Ive lost 12 of the 30.....but my personal canteloupes (twins!) don't seem to be willing to leave.....

    weight has come off everywhere except my butt. So now i'm a size 12 waist and belly with a size 16 butt! looks absurd from the back!
