How many calories per day if you wake up late

So I was just curious if other people ate less, or made sure to eat the same amount of calories on days they woke up much later than normal (usually waking up at 7 am, but instead waking up at 11 am or 12 pm).

Just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts!

I don't know the last time I slept in much later than 8am let alone 11 or 12 (I've got 2 little kids though) but if I did, I'd likely still eat the same number of calories I normally do in a day. I'm also assuming I'd be pretty hungry when I woke up!

Agreed - when I sleep in on weekends I still aim for the same number of calories. In fact, I usually plan those as rest days. Since I want to net 1500 calories - if I wake up at noon, odds are I'm going to eat my breakfast/lunch hyrbrid, then have dinner a few hours later, then probably a snack or two in between - but that normally just barely takes me to 1500, so I use my sleep in days as lazy rest days so I don't net below my goal by exercising. Or if I do exercise, I'll eat those calories back so I'm still at my daily goal.

I generally eat whenever I feel like it until I exceed (or am about to exceed) my goal. Sometimes I pace myself when I know I'm not going to get any excercise in, but since cutting back on caloric beverages, my hunger and my calorie goal seem to match up pretty well.

I generally eat the same. Even if I wake up in the very late afternoon, that just means I'll stay up until the next morning likely. It's the same amount of hours.
