I wanted to ask those who have reached their goal weight and kept it off, how they managed to maintain the weight loss. Was there fear on regaining the weight? Did your eating change?
Thanks

    Hi:
Maybe you want to repost at MFP message board: Maintaining weight.
My experience: Once I arrived to my desired weight range, I stop eating at a deficit. I started increasing my daily calorie target every week by 50 calories until I started gaining weight, then I stopped. Please note I am talking about a weight range, not a single weight number.
I continue logging and monitoring my macros using MFP tool. My next goal is to reduce my body fat. I have increased my daily protein target and I lift weights.
Good luck in your healthy journey

I logged everyday here on MFP, I ate at maintenance and continued my exercise.

No fear of regaining as I am accurate with my logging. Any weight I did gain on vacation was due to not logging and eating and drinking whatever I wanted...it's now gone and I am on another cut to get to a lower weight after maintaining for 9 months.

My eating did not change one bit...just bigger portions. I eat what I want now (even during the losing phase) as you can tell by my diary...chocolate, fast food, beer, pizza, burgers etc.

My eating just has bigger portions now. I still weigh my food using a digital scale and I still do daily weigh-ins just to get familiar with the fluctuations in maintenance. I don't fear putting the weight back on like I used to. I encountered and dealt with that fear during my first 2 bulks. I do have days where I have to rein in my eating. I've always had a large appetite - too large - that's how I ended up needing to lose weight to begin with.
