NSV: Increased my TDEE by just over 100 calories!!

I use a BodyMedia Fit band, which has proven very accurate. Recently I decided to try Jessie Hilgenberg's home edition of her muscle building program. Between that, and intentionally increasing my steps by about 2000 a day, I have increased my TDEE by over 100 calories, on average. Also, with Jessie's program, you are supposed to eat for fuel and building muscle, so I only eat about 150 calories under my TDEE, heavy on the protein...so I feel absolutely stuffed all the time, made room for cake and doughnuts, and still lost .2 lbs this week while feeling tighter and stronger. I'm amazed at how that works with the amount I've been eating (around 1800 calories!! I'm only 5'3" and 155 lbs!)

So, here's to finding a program that works for you, and for getting the gumption to work it!

Great post, thanks for sharing. I'm almost hurt every time I see a post when someone says "I ate 200 cal for breakfast, 300 for lunch, and 200 breakfast and then did some cardio for an hour". Why people don't get educated and learn how to to lose weight the healthy way is beyond me.

I wish you success in your mission.

Awesome! Finding the right plan isn't always easy, but it is nice when it finally happens.

Seriously...I'm eating between 250 and 350 calories per meal...5-6 times a day. I know it's possible to lose while not seriously exercising, but the amazing feeling and energy and high you get from working your body hard and then fueling it properly just can't be beat.
