There are no "wrong" foods, there is just "too much" of a food.

What are the foods that you think are the wrong foods?

I prefer left food and snacks, not right... But that's a personal preference. :p

There is no right/wrong, good/bad foods. The right foods to eat are the ones you like, that fit your goals. Wrong/bad foods are the ones you force yourself to eat because someone else said you should even if you think they taste like feet.

The only foods that I consider bad are...cottage cheese, boiled okra and liver.

Gotta disagree on the kimchee...but I used to live in Ktown and worked with Koreans. I can totally understand boiled okra though...like a bowl o'snot.

OP, what foods were you eating that you think are "wrong" now? Were they high calorie?

Most things you can work in with a little effort and understanding what a realist portion is.

Toni...your foods don't have to be low calorie foods nor do you have to eat low carb in order to lose weight. That works for some people but not everyone.

You can still eat higher calorie foods but your serving sizes just need to be appropriate for your goals. Foods that are higher in calorie need to be weighed. I would overeat on roasted potatoes and pasta if I didn't weigh them.

When I eat pasta I try to load it up with low calorie vegetables so that my serving size "appears" to be larger.

You can get a lot of good...and bad...advice here on these threads. Read it...research it...then decide if it is right for you.

I have kimchee in the frig and a garden full of kale...and swiss chard, and bok choy...

Toni - I made lots of little changes to cut calories. For example, my bedtime snack used to be about 400 calories, and now it is oatmeal with strawberries and stuff for around 200 calories.

I totally suck at eyeballing peanut butter when "measuring" it with a fork, but with a tablespoon, I am dead on.

Instead of throwing a whole banana in a smoothie, I cut them up and freeze them and use 2-3 oz at a time.

My afternoon snack is a fruit smoothie with egg, protein powder, and chia seeds for 205 calories.

I have found a 900 calorie meal doesn't keep me fuller for much longer than a 300-400 calorie meal, so just go with the smaller meals. I eat slower to give the brain time to receive the signal from the stomach that it is full.

Yup, I like broccoli for this if there's not a tomato-based sauce and swiss chard if there is.

I'm also going to add fat free sour cream to this. I made that mistake once. Never again.
