I currently weight 200#. The year before last, I lost 25# using Myfitnesspal. Tracking daily caloric intake and burn had been the most effective method for me. It helps me plan my meals better; eat half the amount; or, exercise to stick around the recommended calories. Diets have never worked. I have not gained back the weight that I lost, even while I was laid up and sedentary for 4 months from a hysterectomy and pelvic reconstruction. I'm looking to lose 30# now. I don't have a timeline, well maybe by the end of the year would be good. Slow and steady wins the race
