Advice on nutrients please

Hi...I started my diet and fitness on 1st June and would like some advice on when to eat nutrients throughout the day...when is the best time to eat carbs/protein etc...a few people have told me to eat carbs in the morning and at lunchtime to keep me going...is this correct? I don't want to eat the wrong foods at the wrong time of day if you know what I mean...any advice would be most appreciated ☺
