Hey guys, we all know that rest helps us to recover and build muscle usually it is 7-9 hours of sleep at NIGHT so i wonder if sleeping in the afternoon around 3 pm (15:00) for an hour considered as rest and also help to build muscle ? Coz i feel energized after i got around 1-2 hours of sleep in the afternoon..

I often take a short nap of about 15 minutes after I get home from work, before my workout. I feel great afterwards and it helps energize me for my workout, but you don't get to deep sleep (REM) until 70-90 minutes after you fall asleep. Short naps help with energy, but if you are trying to grow, it is probably better to sleep as long as possible at night.0

No you have got to sleep as close to 8 hours of straight sleep as possible. Power naps don't count. If you have to ouch lack of sleep then your muscles won't grow0

Ah, the old school muscle nap.
If it makes you feel good, gives you energy and you're not using it as an excuse to miss proper sleep later, why not?0
