We’ve all heard the Joe Nichols song “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” but clothes isn’t the only thing tequila helps shed.

If you’re looking for some of your extra pounds to fall off, shoot tequila. I can’t tell you what it will do to your head the next morning, but I can tell you that drinking tequila apparently helps you shed pounds.

According to research by the American Chemical Society, the tequila plant contains a sweetener that reduces blood sugar and makes it easier to lose weight. It also helps to curb your appetite.

I drink so much tequila. Except in winter, when I drink so much bourbon.

Straight up is the healthiest way, but a margarita never killed anybody. Actually, it probably has, but don't let that stop you.
Here's the only margarita recipe you need:
T = (m+l)
where T=tequila amount, m=mixer amount, and l=lime amount. Neither m nor l should be zero. m>l for sweeter, m<l for more sour. I'm a 3=1+2 guy myself. Salt, rocks, that's it. "Frozen margaritas" are an abomination.
