Feel free to add me :) I've always enjoyed a saying I've seen a few times:

Skinny girls look good in clothes
    Fit girls look good naked!

So skinny girls don't look good naked? Why must you insult one group to compliment another?

I just translate this (I have heard it before) as a way to motivate girls to focus on health and fitness, not just be as thin as they can be. I have some friends on here trying to get by on 500 calories/day..I wish they would focus on being fit over being skinny. May not be the most politically correct expression, but I don't think it was meant to be so insulting.

My daughter's friend just asked me last week why she didn't look good if she is now 115lbs. I told her less cardio, more weights.

I guess there's no choice but to look down on one group when you sit yourself up on a pedestal with another.

logic fail. she never said skinny girls don't look good naked. it could have been taken as skinny girls look good in clothes and naked. the "insult" lay within your mind only
