New mantra - "Do the work"

Had a small heart attack on 2/7/15 while running. Was not life threatening, but got my attention...for awhile anyway. Then life and travel for work happened and I found 12 of the pounds I lost. Have always run off and on and like to be active. Currently weigh 211.4 and am 6 feet tall. Tired of the yoyo. While reading in my running magazine on a flight yesterday came across the mantra, "Do the work" that someone uses when they are preparing for races. Decided this was a good one for me. It's too easy for me to not do the work and take a month long slide to 10 extra pounds and reduced fitness. Need something and some friends to keep me in line. This time I am gonna do the work and get to a healthy BMI. That means 174 pounds is the goal. Only 37 pounds to go. Join me?

I have about 30-40 pounds left to loose as well.
About a year and a half ago I was starting to feel slight chest pains and being short of breath. Being only 23 at the time, it scared the bejesus out of me. I could easily have seen myself having my first heart attack at 30 if not sooner. It's funny that it takes drastic events in our lives for us to make better choices.
