Fitbit Adjustment and Exercise

I have a Fitbit and get calorie adjustments through the apps. I don't wear it when I'm on my treadmill as I choose to manually enter that exercise. When I manually enter the exercise though, it takes those calories burned away from the Fitbit adjustment. Is there anyway to set it up to where it doesn't pull from those calories burned?

Have you posted this in the fitbit group yet? It's a great group. I'll try to find the link for you.

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE—way more accurate than either your treadmill or MFP. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time. Do not log any step-based activity, and leave your Fitbit on.

Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit (that's what I do) or in MFP—never both. If you want your Fitbit stats to appear in your MFP newsfeed, post a status update.

Thank you @bbontheb, I'm a newbie and didn't even realize there is a Fitbit group! @editorgrrl, so for step based, like my treadmill, just let the Fitbit do the figuring? I'm not worried about my newsfeed, I just want to have an idea of my deficit each day. Thank you both for your responses!

    Yes.
