stuck on plateau

I love fitness pal. I have lost 30 pounds so far but my weight has not budged for a month. Feeling frustrated. Busy mom of 5 kids would love your encouragement!

    Just know your not alone. I have been really good and working out all the time. Clothes are getting bigger but the scale won't budge...... People keep telling me it will in fact come off and the scale will confirm it. Meanwhile I wait -

    WOW 5 kids! You are amazing! There is no tougher job out there. Keep working towards your goal. Calorie deficit is important. Logging your meals every day has been very helpful for me.

    A plateau is 6 weeks or more of no weight movement if one has been consistent with diet and exercise. If you deviated any time with either in that 6 weeks at all, then it's NOT a plateau. Likely a stall and happens if you aren't adjusting calories for weight lost and doing the same exercise routine. Try increasing intensity of your exercise first. And also make sure you're being honest with your intake.
