new & need help with TDEE

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to MFP and I'm having a hard time with my TDEE and my calorie intake for the day according to IIFYM it has my TDEE set as 2335 cals/day....and it says BMR = 1597 cals/day. So this would mean 1597 cals/day for my food intake correct? My macros are set as 40% protein....40% fats (good fats) according to my training...and 20% carbs. Any opinions on this?
Also feel free to add me looking to lose 20-25 lbs...any friends with great motivation is fantastic!
