I need help! I have been waking up every night for a long time now to go to the washroom and every time I do I eat something. I know it's not good to eat at night, every day I tell myself I'm not going to do it and every night I end up doing it! It's really bugging me, what should I do?

Make an allowance in your calories for it and log it when you wake up.0

If you are truly unable to stop eating, I would suggest speaking with a professional.
If you are hungry at night and choosing to eat and simply want to stop because of a feeling that is isn't good to eat at night, why not plan for that snack? There is nothing inherently wrong with eating at night. If you choose what to eat, log your food, and meet your goals, I can't imagine that is is going to cause any problems for you.0 -
As long as it fits into your allowed calories, it is fine. The time of day doesn't really matter. Save some room for snacks at night and make sure you log whatever you eat0

Log it and move on. Otherwise you'll keep obsessing over it.
Are you actually hungry when you wake up? If so, try having a bit more protein before you go to bed.
Btw, there's nothing bad about eating at night time. The food doesn't magically weigh more or anything.

You keep food in your washroom ?
Save calories for it0 -
don't eat- just go straight back to bed.0

I take magnesium. It stopped me getting up at night!0

If you can't help yourself indulge when the opportunity arises - take away the opportunity. Stop having food there, or stop buying whatever snacks it is that you can't help but eat.0

This. If you do it mindlessly or are just too tired to fight the urge, save up some calories and portion out something before you go to bed that is easy to grab and eat.
I honestly never understood this habit that some people have. I can't bear the thought of eating in the middle of the night because I hate to wake up with that feeling of not brushing my teeth right before bed. And if I were to get up, pee, eat, and brush my teeth again in the middle of the night, I'd never get back to sleep. Eating is the last thing on my mind if I wake up.0
