Will I gain weight if I eat more carbs then the goal set by MFP but still on a calorie deficit?I'm confused.

No. Only if you eat too many calories.0

Calories are king for weight loss. Keep your calories in the right range and you should lose weight (barring medical conditions).
Macros (carbs, fat, protein) help with various things. But it's important to note that MFP is giving you one possible way to set them. There are tons of different ratios you could use and still reach your goals.
I'll note though that if you're high on carbs then you're likely to be low on fat or protein. Those are both important for general health, so try not to get too low on either.0
