I have a problem of snacking on on bad foods during the day. I also have a bad habit of eating right before bed!! I eat decent but most of diet consist of carbs and I was wondering what to do? How to control my eating and gain self discipline to taunting foods.

There are no bad foods, and eating before bed isn't bad. Unless of course, all your eating is causing you to eat too many calories.
If you eat mostly carbs and want to change, you need to eat more protein and fat. Easy. You may find that planning your meals around protein and fat first will keep you feeling more satisfied and not wanting to snack. If you like eating at night, eat more at night - planning and logging before the day starts may help you have more control over your eating and your calories
You can strengthen willpower by using it. Say no. It's not that hard. If you can do moderation, do that... You can lose weight including foods you enjoy. If you can't control your snacking and end up overeating, perhaps consider restricting those trigger foods for a period of time until you get the confidence to reintroduce them without needing to eat them excessively.0 -
I like to plan my whole day of food in the morning before breakfast. Eat the foods you like, as long as you stay within your daily limits and burn more calories than you consume. The only reason to take certain foods out of your diet is if they are making you feel physically bad and you want to change that. But if you feel ok eating the types of food you do, just focus on the quantity you're eating.
I allow for a couple snacks during the day, for me personally I have 1 salty and 1 sweet. I weigh them out in the morning and snack on them as I go throughout the day. Then when they're gone, they're gone, so I know I should save a little of one or the other for after dinner.
Planning out the day is keeping me on track and I know what I can eat, and anything else will be extra.0 -
There is no easy way to tell yourself no if you are used to saying yes.
Habits are hard to break.
Lots of good ideas shared. But expect it to be tough at first. You will get better at self control.
I like a 20 calotie sugar free Popsicle sometimes as my snack.
Two if I'm feeling crazy!!0
