Was using a tennis ball yesterday to stretch glute muscles and was sitting in a chair with the ball under my right glute while I was working...probably for about 15 min...moving the ball slightly to work out tension I felt. When I went to get up, my leg wS numb. I thought it would go away, but it has traveled down my leg into my calf and foot and has not lessened or gone away! What did I do and how can I fix it??

Sounds like as if you have bruised or affected the sciatic nerve or nerves in the pelvic area....it's full of them!
I'm not a physio so cannot suggest a "fix" but I would go to see a physio or someone of that ilk as it can get painful not just numb.0
