Hey all. I was curious why so many people lock their food diaries? It makes me hesitant to have mine open. From a support standpoint it seems like it'd make sense to share the information for the purposes of gaining feedback.

1. Because that's the default setting.
2. Because they've been burnt by trolls making nasty or unwanted comments on their diaries when they had then open.
3. Because they feel it isn't anyone's business.
4. Because they feel they log more honestly when it's only their eyes seeing it.
That's a few I can think of off the top of my head. Mine is open to friends only.0 -
Because I am small and my TDEE is only 1037 calories a day, the food nazis are all over me. If I eat more than that, I gain.0
