"Fix" accidental overeating?

I misread the nutrition information on my calorie counter when I scanned in a market fresh Ceasar salad. So instead of 1 cup of salad, like I thought the box was, I ate 4 cups!! Did NOT realize it until I went to throw the tray away and found the measurement....and now I feel super gross, on top of having eaten over half my daily caloric allowance. I just want this out of my body, even though it was a salad (with minimal toppings, btw). Has anyone else done this/found a solution for the grossness?

Don't freak out. It happens to all of us. Track it and move on. If you can, walk for 30 minutes or more today and where ever you can fit it into your week. Healthy eating/weight loss is about the whole picture not just a single meal that you made a mistake with. Not paying attention to serving sizes is a common mistake that many people make. Take it as a lesson for next time. Don't dwell on it. Track it, move a little more for a few days, and move on.0

Did you feel "gross" before you realised you'd eaten more than you thought?
You haven't eaten all of your calories (I'm assuming), so what's the issue? Just make the rest of the day fit!0 -
Eat less for the rest of the day. Otherwise, it's not a big deal, with your normal deficit you'll make up for it in a day anyway.
ETA: most of the calories probably come from the dressing, not the toppings.0 -

Your post has some red flags to me. 'Wanting it out of your body' and 'grossness' makes me think you have a few issues to do with food. Maybe you need to look into this?
Food is just food, one day one meal won't make you suddenly destroy any progress. Forget about move on and carry on with your normal 'sensible' eating.0 -
Screw. You. Caesar Salad is awesome!!-1

I "felt gross" as in "that particular food did not sit well in my stomach". I promise I don't have a disorder! honestly I'm not a huge fan of pre-made salads or sandwiches, so I think the grossness was a combination of too much and ingredients I don't normally eat. So I guess my question is geared more towards "what to do when I seriously regret allowing this into my body because now I'm probably going to have food poisoning" lol.
I totally agree Ceasar salad is awesome....when I make it at home. This one was NOT awesome and will not be a repeat!0
