My journey

Hello all I'm new to the board, but wanted to tell everyone about my journey. I'm 36 with a 3 year old son, and I decided after years of putting off my dream if shedding this weight, and becoming healthy I decided the time was now. After Christmas I gave up on all that good jeopardize my health. I didn't weigh for the first few weeks of my diet, because I had a dr appt on January the 25th to get all my blood work done. Well at that appt it was revealed that I weighed 486 pounds. I remember being in the car, and crying how did I get to this point. So instead of giving up my goal it fueled me. I have the drive, and determination to get to my healthy weight. I have not had any bread except for pita or thin buns that I make with my sandwich. I have eliminated all fast foods, except for the occasional roast beef sandwich from Arby's, and when I eat that I eliminate the bun. I drink 2 whey protein shakes a day, and work out 5 days a week. At this point on June 14th I'm down 91 pounds. I go back tomorrow to weigh, and hopefully I'll have surpassed my first goal of 100 lbs. I come here today because I need to talk to people going through the fight and journey that I'm on for support. I will figure out how to post pics later.
