I have gone from 65kg to 58kg in the past 6 months, I want to reach 55kg.I'm still planning to continue my calorie deficit but instead of losing 0.8kg every week I want to lose 0.5kg then gradually 0.2 then maintain. I'm afraid my body is used to having around 1500 calories that I might gain all my weight again if I eat at my maintenance level which is 2100 calories. Good idea? Any advice?

Perhaps try increasing calories slowly to see how you go.... You will see an increase in weight with extra food, but it's not necessarily fat. Measurements and photos (and Skinfolds if you can get them done regularly) are a better measure of progress.

"Maintenance" post calorie deficit will be different to pre calorie deficit as your bmr will be lower due to less weight, and adaptation to lower calories over your diet...

Personally I would keep calories the same and maybe introduce 1 "cheat meal" a week. This will decrease your caloric deficit. Then when you reach your goal weight you can taper up calories slowly to find your new maintenance

You don't actually know what your maintenance level is until you increase your calories to a point at which you are no longer losing weight. Once you reach your goal, you should begin increasing your calories gradually until you are no longer seeing weight loss. That might be 2100 calories, or it might not be.
