I was sorely tempted to slash my brother's car tires, after we had a fight and he punched me in the face, giving me a bloody nose and black eye (I was 22, he was 24). But I didn't have a knife with me, so I keyed the entire driver's side instead.

He knew he deserved it, so we called it even.

My ex wife had a Land Rover discovery that had all 4 tires flattened, all the windows and lights scribbled on with black permanent marker and all the door gaps filled with expanding foam.

I was so mad I'm positive I would have murdered someone. I couldn't even talk to tell her to go look at it.

It cleaned up and the tires were just flattened not punctured.

    Lol

I have third party crazy. I'm not crazy and my friends aren't crazy, but the people they know are nucking futs

This actually happened two nights ago to my friend's cousin because she was sleeping with someone other than her husband.

    So much this.

I had a student offer to slash the principal's tires on my behalf once. I succeeded in keeping a straight face until he was out of the room.

A coworker was passed over for a promotion and it was given to me. That evening I heard 4 distinct pops by the time I got outside all four tires were flat. I blame her but have no proof.

    Just curious. No reason.

Depending on the tool used, it can take a surprising amount of force.

Would a chainsaw be sufficient? Just asking.

Yes. Late one night some ... person went along our whole block and slashed the tires on all the cars on the one side. I think it was on the road side, not the curb side. We had to leave early in the morning to go away for a few days, and my friend had rented a car so we had to wait until they opened and then brought us another car. We would have taken mine instead but, yes, slashed. Many years later at a different house some one went along and smashed all the driver's side windows in the middle of winter. Lost a day of work for that one as had to get it repaired asap.

I suspect, into the sidewall...but would be tough keeping the chain off of the rim/ground.
