Try to think of times like this as a challenge. You know you will feel better later, and if you can get through the tough parts, imagine how proud you will be later once you've gotten back into a normal state of mind.
Instead of giving up entirely, maybe you could take a more relaxed day. Don't go "all or nothing." Go in the middle. Maybe you don't have to do *kitten* today. Maybe you don't have to eat your veggies. But maybe you also don't binge or give up either.
Because even though it's been a terrible day, it will pass. 5 years from now you won't even think about it. What matters is long term happiness.

I think we all have those days, I have had one for the last 2 weeks. But I think after 500 days at it, I am entitled to be over calorie counting and dieting but you know what. Last night I planned today's food, got up and did 81 mins worth of walking and jogging and I kicked it in the rear end and you know what. Now I feel great.
Just know it happens to everyone. And think about how much better you feel and how much you deserve to have a better life and be the best you, that you can be.
You can do it, I know it! Because if I CAN, ANYONE CAN!!!0 -
I know exactly how you feel. I've had good success so far...then when I look at a picture of myself? I feel like I've accomplished nothing. All I can say, even for myself, is to just keep going. Keep trying. Because I certainly don't want to gain or stay the same, and neither do you I'm sure.0

Why do you want to give up?
Have the reasons you wnated to lose weight and the advantages of being your ideal weight changed and become less importnat than they were yesterday or will be tomorrow? has today done soemthing to change them or is it just another crummy obstacle that you work around and continue on your journey? Its been crap but it will be a lot worse if you let your achievements so far o to waste and you prevent yourself from experiencing the pleasure of reaching target.
If you wnat it badly enough then fight for it, ont give in ride the bump and get back to your progress. Its 100% your choice. When you look back it will be all the more of an achievement becayse you can and did overcome crap days like this. Hang on and keep going.0
