I was just wondering if fresh and dried herbs and spices would be noticable and is it best to avoid them?

I tend to use a lot of herbs and spices in my dishes.

My experiences with herbs and spices is that it really depends on which ones you're using. There are actually quite a few that promote weightloss. Then there are others that have a sodium base and that is a definite no go.

I think it's fine to use herbs and spices, of course fresh herbs would be the better option. As long as you don't need more than 1/4 cup of herbs and spices, there won't be a noticable amount of carbs I'd say, plus stay away from any high sodium ones or just ditch the salt if you can!

QTF! I certainly wouldn't recommend avoiding herbs and spices unless the taste you're looking for is b-o-r-i-n-g. Herbs and spices add minimal calories/fat/carbs/protein, but a boatload of flavor.
