I have family pictures on July 12. I have lost 20 lbs in a little over a month since I started my diet (yes I know it's not healthy, but most of it is water weight) I would very much like to be under 200 pounds by pictures. I'm at 216 right now. Any tips suggestions on how I could do that?

By not setting an unrealistic expectation to lose an additional 17lbs in a month. That will only be possible through a 59,500 calorie deficit (1,983 per day), and that is not healthy. You had a huge drop because of water weight due to new changes. Your losses are going to become more reasonable and varied at this point.

Don't set yourself to a specific number. Continue with what you're doing now, weigh your food, and create a reasonable deficit for yourself. Crash dieting for family photos will leave you miserable. Family pictures can always be done again.

I'm so sorry to hear that. : ( Just focus on getting to the 12th in tip top condition! I'm sure she'll be happy just to have you there with her in them.

Since you can't lose that much weight safely in that time period, how about you get your hair done and buy yourself a nice new outfit?

I second this. Throw in a mani/pedi too. Probably won't see them in the photos, but some R&R never hurts before photo day!
