Low B12 and muscle growth

Does anyone know if low B12 levels impact the ability to build muscle? My levels are lowish and dropping - here in NZ they seem to be reluctant to supplement at lowish levels, whereas in other countries ie Japan they will intervene at MUCH higher levels (which interestingly has been linked to that country having lower levels of alzheimers and other mental issues).

Strangely my diet is very good so need to investigate why levels are running low.

    I understand that stress can affect B12, as can other things. You might want to research that.

    Yes I know and have been under huge amounts of that for most of this year (family related) :ohwell:
