I am new to this journey, about a week to be exact and I am trying harder than I have ever tried before. My boyfriend has been amazingly supportive and I am very happy to be going through this positive change together. But lately I've been feeling crazy! I would get random swings of depression, unexplainably angry, and waves of anxiety. My boyfriend and I did some research and I think I may have an addiction to food..
I hate that word. I feel pathetic. But I will get through this, I will break this cycle. Anyone go through anything similar? My bf has been nothing but supportive (thank god for him).

Change your goals to one pound a week until you get used to logging. Set up your kitchen to make things as easy as possible -- clear off the counter so you have new tools like a food scale, rice cooker, blender, . . . whatever is going to help you. Stock up on foods that will keep you at your calorie goal.
Exercise will help. Do you have a good place to walk?0
