I have been on MFP for over 2 months now. Finally ready to introduce myself.
Since I was kid, I have always been struggling with me weight. I had been under weight and close to obese. After I graduated from university and started working, I eventually found my happy balance with food, exercise and work. However, three years ago, I was in a car accident that left me with back problems. I can't do any high impact exercise anymore. And also, I had surgery to remove my gallbladder due to some genetic issues a couple years ago.
Since the accident and surgery, I was depressed, so I turned to food.
At 159cm (5'2") I weight 70.5 (155lb) when I started MFP. In the past two months, I have lost 4.2kg (9.2lb) by only doing calorie counting. The number on the scale hasn't been moving for a couple weeks, and I am feeling defeated.
I do need to add an exercise plan, but I don't know what low impact exercise I can do. I used to jog and do weight training 5 days a week.
My goal is 60kg (132lb) for now, then eventually I want to go down to 53kg (116lb).

Hi! I've been on MFP for a few years, but really committed for the past 10 months. I'm 5'1'' and my goal is very similar to yours. Have you given though to yoga and pilates? It could really help your core without adding impact.
I log everyday and I log everything I eat. Feel free to add me0
