Trying something new

I've been on weight watchers for about...8 years? That sounds like an exaggeration but on/off for that amount of time sounds about right. Maybe it's longer? Anyway, I'm (obviously) not making progress on that so I did a bit of reading and decided sugar was my issue. I LOVE coke--like, to an insane degree. Sugary foods (which are most foods) also appeal to me so I figure if I'm going to lose weight I need to change my whole lifestyle and that means LESS SUGAR.
Sugarbusters seems like a good route for me--it's a low sugar diet, not a no sugar one. And I'm trying to exercise more as well. I'm using MFP to track nutrition and weight loss and the Couch to 5K and Gym Genius apps to motivate myself. I'm planning on wogging (walk/jogging) the Wharf to Wharf Race in Santa Cruz in about a month (8 miles, like I said--wogging).
Cheers,
Chaz
