UK newbie aiming for a 50lb loss

Hi folks,

Have been lurking around the community for a week or so, lots of inspiring and helpful posts so hoping to contribute!

A bit about me.... When I started this journey I was 16 stone 3 lbs and pretty unhappy with how I looked and how I felt about myself, didn't help that I got rejected by a girl (always something eh?) which made me feel worthless.

So I decided to start concentrating on me and looking after myself, I figured if I felt better about myself and my body I'd have some self confidence again.

So far I'm down to 14 stone 11 lbs... My goal is to lose 50 lbs total - I think I've lost about 20 so far, started using mfp and have rejoined the gym... I know it's going to take time and dedication and apart from eating out (rarely) I think I'm on track so far each day, I'll probably have lots of silly questions along the way but do rather ask than get a million conflicting answers on google lol.

So yeah - hello world!
