I've began the weight loss journey many times. I thought my focus should be the long term, but after a while, it seemed impossible and my motivation has fizzled out. I've realized now that I should be concentrating on getting through today. I've realized if I sneak a chip, I shouldn't just give up and pig out on those chips and try again tomorrow. I've had some really great days so far, and some not so great. If I do have a weak moment, I try not to let it get me down, and I think of my "win of the day", what I've been calling little moments where I had the willpower and the want power to say no, or to do something good for my body.

I want to hear everyone's daily wins. I'd like to dedicate this thread to those moments that make us look back and say "I did it".

I'll start:

Yesterday, we went to a party for my cousin's graduation. Not only did I forgo the soda and stick to the spa water my cousin had made, I also said no thank you to that second piece of cake!

Today, I got right back on the horse and didn't let that cheat day get me down!
