Anyone know the calorie value of 50g cooked freekeh? Or even 100g?
I've an uncooked value on the box but can't source a cooked value. Searched the database with nothing. Or is cooked and uncooked the same.
Thanks.

Foods generally have their nutritional value and serving size determined by weight uncooked. So use that. Just weigh it before you cook it.

And thanks, OP. I now have the song "Super freak, super freak - she's super freakeh!" playing in my head! B)

weigh your food uncooked as 100g of uncooked chicken has the same calories etc as the 60g it now weighs after being cooked it's just water that is lost not calories.

And the reverse is true with foods like pasta and rice. They are also weighed before cooking since the water they're cooked in adds weight to the food but no calories. ;)
