Rough week!!!

I have been doing so good eating healthy exercising etc. well this past week I have been slowly slipping back into bad habits. I always end up doing this but I really want to stay focused his time. It's like even though I know I shouldnt eat the bad stuff before I realize it I am. Why does his happen every time I try to get healthy. Anybody else with the same experience. And each I will say I'll get back on track tomorrow and before I know it 5 or 6 months of unhealthy habits have past.

Do you still allow yourself to eat back the 'bad stuff' in your normal diet, or do you cut it out completely? If you cut it out completely, that's probably your problem! Work it into your calories, so you don't feel deprived. No need to cut anything out completely.

I did this when I first started losing weight. I would do awesome and by the end of the week I was binge eating and eating tons of junk food. Maybe change up your diet so you don't get bored with the same foods? I know eating healthy all the time is hard but I finally figured I'll give myself one day a week where I eat cookies or whatever junk food I had been craving all week (in moderation of course). My cheat day is almost like a reward for doing so well all week. If you look at it that way then I know you can do it! I've been doing this for a year and have lost 21 pounds. Keep at it, don't give up! If you need someone for encouragement just add me as a friend :)

Because you're categorizing food as "good" and "bad". There's only food that's more nutritious and food that's less nutritious. Focus on getting the ones that are more nutritious, but work a treat in every once in a while.

That is an awesome explanation. I have the same problem as OP - I can be "good" for a few days and then I backslide.
