Hi Everyone!

Looking to find any new salmon/rainbow trout/cod recipes...

I made cod this week I put 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard with garlic powder as per my trainer it was delicious baked at 400 for roughly 20 minutes

I also make it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and lemon OR I had 1 tbsp of FLAVOUR GOD seasoning lemon and garlic.

Any other recipes/seasonings for cooking fish In the oven?

Mmm fish! Lemon and a bit of salt are my quick go to spices for grilling fish. Then top off with avocado mango chutney, or a seafood tartar sauce (though higher calorie option still very yummy).

For the oven I often put down a layer of onions or leeks first in the pan, then add broth or white cooking wine. Fish should not sit in the broth, but float above on a layer of veggies. This keeps the fish moist while cooking and infuses wonderful flavor! I have never heard of Flavor God seasoning... will look that up! Thanks for the ideas!

Hubby caught 6 rockfish yesterday off the Northern Cali coast. Grilling tonight!

I have an amazing tilapia recipe! http://www.bigoven.com/recipe/ginger-and-cilantro-baked-tilapia/250641
When I don't have wine, I just skip it out and add a small amount of olive oil, it is my fave meal of all. I also don't really follow the measurements exactly, I throw in more garlic and cilantro!

When we cook salmon, we just season it with salt and pepper and then squeeze a lemon wedge over when it is ready. It sounds simple, but sometimes simple cooks amazing.

I cut salmon into serving size portions, and brush them with butter mixed with Johnny's Garlic Spread (available at Costco - it's not actually a spread, but a powder) and individually wrap them in parchment paper. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. I've never tried this with other fish, but I'm sure it would work equally as well.

I love haddock and will often just season it with Montreal Steak Seasoning before baking. I like mustard on my fish, too, and have done it that way and then lightly breaded and baked.

Honey mustard salmon is really good. Mix up some honey and mustard to your taste, spread it on and bake.

This is really easy: salt & pepper cod filets. Mix a little mayo with hot sauce and "paint" filets. Top with crushed french fried onions. Bake at 400 for about 15 minutes until your fish is done.
