    Mmmmm, Honey Stinger waffles are great pre run snacks :) I can eat one of those and run immediately. If I have more time, I also like the peanut butter toast option, or half a banana with a tablespoon of PB if going longer than about 40 minutes.

    I try to get up 45 minutes or so before a long run so I can eat a slice of toast and honey and well... poop. That's not cool if you have to go while running. Been there. Done that :s

    Update.... I've ran a couple times now as soon as a get up with only drinking plenty of water beforehand and it seems to be enough for a 5k and it also sets me up for the rest of the day :D
