Hi Guys,
So today was my cheat day and I had a blast but I also managed to gain a whole kg in one day ! I feel so guilty. I'm going to go do the Nike Fitness Club workout now but how is it possible that I gained a whole kg from a single day?
thanks in advance.

I took a dump and lost 1kg!0 -
no, you cant gain 1kg of fat in 1 day. it will be water retention...... and poop. i know your a girl. but we all know you do it.
just sayin.
EDIT: this happens all the time to everyone. :P0 -
water weight, food in your system. think about it. don't make yourself feel guilty when you know it doesn't work like that.0

You probably had more salt than usual, too. That explains the water weight.0

Make sure you have a good fibre intake and plenty of water to help pass the food and it will drop again in no time.0

Don't confuse weight fluctuations with fat gain.
Here's an experiment for you:
Weigh yourself.
Drink a litre of water.
Weigh yourself again.
OMG!!
I've gained a kilo in weight - I had better rush off to the gym..... :noway:0 -
The way to avoid piling on those pounds the day after a binge is to binge on food that doesn't weigh much:
- Candyfloss
- Marshmallow
- Popcorn
- Cheesy puffs
These are good examples of foods that won't tip the scale the next day. Now some naysayers who really don't know what they're on about may be about come along and point out that all the above are horribly calorific, but ignore that. It literally doesn't matter if what you're eating contains a squillion calories as long as it only weighs a couple of grams.
Just look at the common sense of it! Light weight food = light weight person. Heavy weight food = heavy weight person.
See I'm obese. Why? Because I listened to so-called 'experts' who advised eating red meats/fish, lots of fruit and veg and complex carbs. Yah great....but have you seen how much a kilo of carrots weighs??? A ruddy kilo! That's a whole kilo of weight on right there. So now I just eat very light food and the weight is coming off.0
