Hi there

I work out every day but i think its time i started to tone up....but i am not part of a gym and dont really have the money to invest in expensive equipment.

Is there a way i can do effective strength and weight training without spending too much.......??

Set of weights is cheap and cheerful , and you can do like 101 exercises with weights.

All you need are garbages bags and a partner.

Nerdfitness.com has several good bodyweight circuits that require nothing more than a chair and a dumbbell (a milk carton filled with water will work just fine). You'll get a good burn from it. It's not going to let you bulk up, but it will help you burn fat and tone up, assuming you eat right.

A set of dumbells is a great start and not too expensive. You can buy them individually or as a set. Personally, I go to the gym and really like it but it is $30.00 per month. I really cant afford it, but on the other hand I cant afford not to! I love having everything I need right there and the people at the gym are great and they help to motivate me.

That's an interesting workout, but that guy looks so insanely 'roided out.

Check the Goodwills and thrift shops (cue music), I found weight plates, a curl bar and occasionally cardio machines (test these first). Also, drive around and peek at garage sales. Lots of people have equipment they just want to get rid of for cheap.

If you Google Nerdfitness.com sandbag workout, that's a good one too.
