Eating with friends at Fuddruckers tonight. I'm not in the States and the menu is different than probably elsewhere. I'm wondering how many calories a 1/3lb Cowboy Burger without cheese and without the chipotle mayonnaise might be. None of the ingredients are on their current US calorie list and the numbers I find online are truely all over the place for the whole burger with mayonnaise and cheese.

edit: searching a bit more, apparently this burger comes with bacon in some countries, but not here *sigh* and most calories in various data bases don't mention the size of the burger. *doublesigh*

Separate components. I'd start with 1/3 lb of 80/20 ground beef, add a hamburger bun entry, and go from there.

    Assume 1300

Well, I guess the burger with bun then is around 575kcal. Need to add basalmic onions and chipotle barbecue sauce, tomato and lettuce. On the current US menue I'm getting around 700-800kcal for the small burgers, but always with cheese and sometimes with bacon. Would that be realistic for my burger?

You're at about 500 calories for the meat alone. It'll be a big bun - call it 200 calories for that. So 700, and haven't added any of the fat-sauteed or fat-soluble goodies.

No, it's a small bun. The big burgers come with big bun, but I'm having a small one. But yea, it's rather confusing. I guess I won't log today. That makes live easier with those things.

Well, a Hardee's 1/3 pound burger is 770 calories, and I have no idea what the toppings are. And that is without sides.

A 1/3 lb is not a small burger.

Just pick a number between 1000 and 1300 and call it done.

Well yes, it's not a small burger. that's true. But the 1/2, 2/3 and 1lb burgers are ridiculously large. Even the 1/3lb one is too much for me. Thus I'm fine without sides anyway, and I won't eat the whole thing.
