America is sinking, what country do you want to live in now?

I thought this was another joke thread asking if the US dropped into the ocean where in the world would you go. Either I'm wrong (which does happen rarely) or some people are very sensitive.0

Canada!0

If you can do dessert you might can do mars. You could establish your country but it may be lonely.0 -
@shoppingmaniac86 , sorry to say the short list has been announced.

That's totally what it is, but it appears to have raised the hackles of at least a few persons for whom reading comprehension is specious, at best.
I love America. Always have, always will. Warts and all. But I'm also quite happy living here in Austria for the last 8 years. It's a very inviting standard of living and great place to raise a family (though I also recognize the problems here and acknowledge them as well).
So... Austria...0 -

If it is sinking, I'm going down with this ship.
Couldn't have put it any better if I'd tried! Ditto!0 -
Yeah, because everybody wants to live in America, unless it's sinking.0

Japan, or Germany0

Good rule of thumb. When in doubt, sleep with the panelists. LOL0 -

No, silly. I'm not European.0 -
An island... in the middle of nowhere... no taxes... no stress... where I'm the only guy in a population of 10... and there is abundant fishing, vegetation, wildlife.0

Wow some people are sensitive! It's a game!
Not from the USA but if you were sinking, then Canada wouldn't be too far behind. In which case I'd love to move to Spain.0 -
Probably Central American - maybe Panama -- but would love to just be able to travel the world and not settle down.0

I am originally from Holland and I would love to go back0
