At goal weight, now what?

So I'm at my goal weight which is 130 lbs! Whoo hoo! However, I still don't like the way that I look. I'm 5ft 7in tall so I don't know how I feel about losing any more weight. But I also don't think I'm ready to eat at maintenance. I've been weight lifting for about 2 months now. Tried a few programs and didn't like them so I focus on different body parts for different days. I've felt progress (I write everything down so there is proof that I'm getting stronger) but I have yet to see any difference on my body. People have said that is normal so I'm not going crazy about it. Still, that leaves me a little confused. Should I keep eating at a deficit to lose not just weight, but body fat? Or is it time to start eating at a maintenance?

ANY advice would be greatly appreciated.

You could try eating at maintenance, continuing to lift, and giving it a few months to see whether you like the results.

You can eat at maintenance, lift heavy and still drop body fat. It's called a body recomp. You want to start revving your metabolism back up by eating more. You will need that extra fuel if you are lifting more and want to get stronger.

Focus on toning and maintaining your current weight by eating right.

I know this is dumb, but I feel like if I eat at a maintenance I will gain weight. It's a lot of calories I will be able to eat in a day.

Gradually increase them by 100 a week to work out what your actual tdee is. Just add slightly bigger portions of something or add in calorie dense stuff like nuts, nut butters or use olive oil etc for cooking.

5'7" also! My profile pic is me at around 132. Keep lifting, it just takes time. Unless you have a pretty small build, I would not continue to lose weight. Workout and maintenance can do magical things to your physique.

By definition, you won't gain weight at maintenance, other than perhaps refilling glycogen and having extra food in your system, both of which level out.

Play with calories. How much were you eating to lose, and at what rate? Maintenance should not be a ridiculous amount of food to losing at a moderate pace
