I've been on this journey and actually seeing results and now I have crazy baby fever. All of these babies come in my office. I want one but I've worked so hard to lose weight. I'm not ready to gain SOME of it back. I won't do like I did the first time and let go lol. Any thoughts from fit moms?

Gain no more than 30lbs, and it will come off fast. 25lbs is even better.

Gaining more than 35lbs, if you are a healthy weight to start with, is reckless for you and your baby, anyway.

    That's a lie :)

My first baby I gained 56lbs, lost it all without dieting except 14lbs

My second baby I gained 21lbs, also kept an additional 14lbs

It took me till my youngest was 10 to get my act in gear

I would have CICO and lifted through pregnancy and beyond if I'd known how much I'd take to it

I was at a healthy pre-pregnancy weight, I gained 45lbs.. I didn't overeat, I kept fit..so that was reckless? Healthy baby, healthy delivery too. I would leave it up to your doctor to be concerned if he/she thinks you are gaining too much, not to let some generic guideline freak you out since every woman and pregnancy is different.

Ps. I had no problem losing my baby weight and I am more fit than ever
