    1. Purchase them at the store
    2. Eat them

What exactly is it you're having trouble with? How to fit them into your calorie goals, or just not able to come up with any new recipes?

Eat whatever you want. Just consume less calories than you burn and the weight will come off.

How to fit them in. I am DYING to try the new 3rd pound burgers at McDonald's. But I know if I do I will keep going back.

Maybe compromise with yourself? Give yourself a goal of fitting one in every week instead of every day.

Pre-planning and pre-logging is a way many people have found to fit stuff in. So say (as an example) Friday I'm going to McDonalds and try the 1/3 lb burger for lunch. Add that to your diary for Friday lunch right now...then when Friday comes, work your breakfast, snacks and dinner around that.

ETA: I just looked up and a Steakhouse 1/3 lb Sirloin Burger is listed as 730 calories on their website. Regardless of your daily calorie goal, you should be able to fit that in without having to make too many concessions - just a lighter breakfast and dinner than you might otherwise have.

Can you split one with someone?

There are two methods to use in this case: get the food you want and eat less of it. Or, make healthier (less calorie / fat) versions of the food you want and eat more of it. Both methods may work for you at differing times. It's a matter of balance and figuring out your priorities.
