i would say first to express this to your guy, depending on how long you've been together you should feel a certain level of comfortable approaching him about it, if you're not than maybe he isn't the right workout partner, and who knows maybe he will be happy you told him and even happier to workout with you and prove you have nothing to fear. I have struggled with a similar feeling. I have begged my boyfriend to workout with me because he used to lift and I want to learn the proper techniques but he refuses to, I've finally convinced him to go to the gym with me sometimes but all he will do is an hour of cardio and say lets go. Sometimes we even end up arguing if we do workout together because sometimes I don't handle his pointers well. I'm finding it's nice to go with him and do the exercises in confident in and just do the others I'm not so confident in in my own. You got this!
