i have been following MFP for 10 days and have not lost anything I honestly think the 50% carbs a day is too much for me.. Has anyone else had to change the macros they were given for it to work?

Not after only 10 days.
It takes time0 -
But I have not lost an ounce0

Since I eat keto, I had to readjust my macros. I'm at 5% carbs, 75% fat and 20% protein. If you feel your carbs are too high, then definitely play around with the numbers until you find a level that works for you0

OP you need to give us more information;
- Stats
- Calorie consumption
- Eating back exercise calories?
And answer these questions;- Are you using an electric scale to weigh food?
- Are you weighing foods accurately? i.e. using grams instead of cups, half cups etc
- How are you obtaining your calorie burns? MFP, HRM or machines?

And yes, it's only been 10 days. Wait till the 3 week mark and see if anything changes.

I understand...but ESPECIALLY at the beginning of a new diet/exercise plan, many things come into play. Water weight can vary, "Time of the Month" issues...all can affect scale weight.
10 days is far too short of a timeframe to expect anything.
Keep at it for about a month - THEN step back and evaluate.0 -
Keto? And I just feel maybe trying 40% would be worth a try but do I add the 10% to my protein or fats?0

Okay and yes I do weigh on electric scales for all food, I have a fitbit so get exercise calories through that.. I don't know if I should eat them or not? And I have an allowance of 1360 cals per day0

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), the number of calories to maintain your current weight. If you eat at a reasonable deficit from that, you will lose weight.

As for macros, I use MFP's default protein & fiber goals as minimums, and ignore carbs & fat.0 -
